The High Low Hemline is everywhere this season from the spring 2012 runways to celebrities sporting the latest fashion trend. It’s the perfect way the spice up your outfit since it gives your outfit that kick of drama! Dress it Up- Dress it Down

I LOVE accessories. You can do so much with them. That’s why most of the time I choose to spend more on my accessories than on my everyday wardrobe because you can Dress it Up and Dress it Down. The outfit I am wearing below, both top and bottoms are from super cheap yet chic - Forever 21! Yet I choose to splurge on my accessories. My pants bwt...the palazzo are the IT pants for the fall. Get them ladies!

Can't Live without Item- Steve Madden Wicked Wedge

I am not a Carrie Bradshaw kind of gal you see running around town in stilettos. I personally prefer comfort over thinking about my aching feet all day. That is until I came across the Steve Madden Wicked Wedge. These bad boys are wedges so that right there makes things a lot easier, secondly they have a 41/4" heel with a 11/2" platform basically making these a 3" heel. Very do-able!

They are great with leggings or tuck in your favorite pair of skinny jeans. I have them in brown if I'm feeling boho, and black if I'm feeling edgy. Get them girls!

Ode to my Fashion Icon: Gwen Stefani

I thought it would be fitting to start out this fashion blog with an ode to my personal fashion icon- Gwen Stefani. She started out much like myself making her own clothes at home.Her style is ever evolving, from tomboy chic and Hindi queen from the OC. Today Gwen Stefani is a Fashion Icon with two clothing lines and another in the works with major retailer Target. You can even find her designs copied in stores like Forever 21!

I have been obsessed since the day I laid my eyes on Gwen, bare midriff and all! I'd like to believe that she has been helping my style evolve over the years. So here's to you Gwen!
